On Wednesday, March 11, 2020, starting at 09.00 in the premises of the County Administration (Hall 28 / I), the Initial Conference of the project "Competence Center in Koprivnica-Križevci County" will be held. The project’s aim is to improve the infrastructure of the Trade School Koprivnica and its partner institution of the Vocational School Đurđevac.
The total value of the project is HRK 30,021,538, and it should be noted that out of the total amount, only HRK 21,538 will be co-financed by the beneficiaries, ie Koprivnica Crafts School, which is also the project applicant together with Koprivnica-Križevci County partners and Đurđevac Vocational School with professional assistance of the Regional Development Agency PORE Koprivnica-Križevci County. The project was also recognized by the Ministry of Regional Development and European Union Funds, which awarded HRK 30 million in grants based on the Call for Proposals for the establishment of infrastructure of regional centers for competences in vocational education and training to support the vocational education and training reform process.
These schools, which will be part of the Competence Center in Koprivnica-Križevci County, will be reconstructed, upgraded and equipped with their relevant specialized equipment related to (sub) sectors of electrical engineering and computer science. This will provide access to quality learning based on work and work development. It will furthermore enhance competencies of the future workforce and the employees of local and regional companies.
