Zamjenik župana Ratimir Ljubić je izrazio zadovoljstvo nakon potpisivanja ugovora kazavši kako će projekt CEKOM označiti novo razdoblje u strukovnom obrazovanju, koje će pozitivno utjecati na cjelokupni sustav obrazovanja u Koprivničko-križevačkoj županiji.
Deputy Prefect Ratimir Ljubić expressed satisfaction after the signing of the contract, saying that the CEKOM project will mark a new period in vocational education, which will have a positive impact on the entire education system in the Koprivnica-Križevci County.
Today, in the premises of the National and University Library in Zagreb, the signing ceremony and presentation of contracts for the Call "Establishment of regional centers of competence in vocational education in (sub) sectors: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science, agriculture and health" from the European Social Fund was held. Among the projects that applied to the Ministry of Science and Education and received grants is the project "Development of competencies through work-based learning" which was submitted by the Trade School Koprivnica together with project partners Koprivnica-Križevci County, Đurđevac Vocational School and the assistance of PORA Regional Development Agency of Koprivnica-Križevci County. The project with a total value of HRK 30,027,720.85 will be 85 percent financed from the ESF, while the remaining 15 percent will be provided from the state budget.
The contracts were awarded by the Minister of Science and Education Blaženka Divjak. In addition to the principal of the Trade School Zlatko Martić, the signing ceremony was attended by Deputy Prefect Ratimir Ljubić and a member of the Project Team Saša Seretin. Deputy Ljubić expressed satisfaction after the signing of the contract, saying that the CEKOM project will mark a new period in vocational education, which will have a positive impact on the entire education system in Koprivnica-Križevci County.
This is the second phase of the project of the Koprivnica-Križevci County Competence Center with a total value of HRK 60 million, which will establish the program and staffing conditions necessary for the functioning of the Koprivnica-Križevci County Competence Center. It is linked to a previously reported and approved project which will improve the infrastructure of the Competence Center, ie Trade School Koprivnica and the partner institution of the Vocational School Đurđevac, and which will reconstruct, upgrade and equip these schools with all relevant specialized equipment in the field of electrical engineering and computing. This will provide access to quality work-based learning and the development of the competencies of the workforce as well as of future employees of local and regional companies.
